The UK Renal Social Work Group aims to provide a forum for adult and paediatric renal social workers across the UK, supporting professional development and promoting the highest standards of social work practice in the field of renal care.  Membership of the group is open to all social workers and social work assistants working in renal services in the United Kingdom.

The group meets three times a year and runs an annual study day. Members pay an annual subscription and the group is financially supported by Kidney Care UK.

The Renal Social Work Group has a seat on the UK Kidney Association and is an affiliated member of the European Dialysis and Transplant Nurses Association / European Renal Care Association.

        

Our next AGM and Study Day will be held in London on the 14th and 15th of June 2026.
